Sneaky pickups

The waiver wire this week should probably center around backup running backs, as Ray Rice, Pierre, Thomas, Steve Jackson and Jahvid Best all were banged up last week.  Which backups are worthwhile?

Chris Ivory, RB, Saints
I know two things.  One, Pierre didn't practice today.  Two, the Saints are home agianst the Panthers this week.  I know nothing about Chris Ivory other than you want him if Pierre isn't going to play.

Kenneth Darby, RB, Rams
Darby actually looked good last week in his three quarters, gaining 49 yards and scoring on 14 carries.  The Rams host Seattle in what will be another fantasy friendly matchup for a waiver wire RB this week.

I also feel the need to mention John Kuhn again, mainly because Brandon Jackson is terrible, but also because the Pack are going to hang at least 35 on the Lions Sunday.  Kuhn is marked for one of those.

It appears Ray Rice may play, and McGahee is likely owned anyway, but he's worth an add surely if he's available.  Maurice Morris isn't likely to be doing the Lambeau Leap even if Jahvid doesn't play.

I know Denver receivers are all over the wire, but it's going to be very difficult to predict value from one week to the next.

Cheers,
TFAM
